The Give List

Questions, quietly answered.

Everything free. No chat. Just giving.

  • A place for neighbors to give useful things directly to other neighbors who can use them.

  • Yes. Everything exchanged through The Give List is free. No selling, bidding, or hidden transaction fees.

  • No. There is no open chat, comment section, or discussion board. The Give List is built around simple GIVE, WISH, PICK, PASS, and pickup actions.

  • Show interest in the GIVE. If the giver selects you, you can PICK or PASS and follow the pickup steps.

  • A WISH tells nearby neighbors what you are hoping to find. Someone who has a match can offer a GIVE.

  • Pickup details are shared only when needed for the exchange. Pickup may be at a porch, office, church, school, business, or another agreed pickup point.

  • No. Private contact or pickup information is not posted publicly and should only be used for the specific exchange.

  • The handoff is completed and the GIVE moves into the Garage as part of the owner's history.

  • Yes. Containers let neighbors organize related GIVES or WISHES into one shareable collection.

  • No. A visitor arriving through a shared link can start with a lightweight signup using their name and either an email or phone number, plus the participation acknowledgment.

  • The Give List is for free physical items. Services and prohibited or unsafe items are not allowed.

  • That happens. The Give List helps neighbors connect, but it does not guarantee a match, pickup, condition, or outcome.
